Our Team!

Danielle Huff, Veterinarian

Dr. Danielle Huff attended Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine, “Go COUGS!”.  After graduation she worked in an emergency clinic on the East Coast. Tired of the humidity she came back to the West Coast and worked for several years in an extremely busy small animal practice that was well known for high quality medicine and behavioral services. Dr. Huff has been in Central Oregon for over 15 years now raising her family. She loves Mountain View Animal Hospital as it is a clinic providing high quality medicine in a small, intimate environment where people, pets, and vets can promote and foster the human-animal bond.  When she is not at work, Dr. Huff enjoys spending time with her busy and active family playing on the water, playing softball, watching the kids at their sports games, gardening, biking, hiking, and enjoying all that Central Oregon has to offer.

Cassie, Assistant

I'm Cassie! I joined the staff of Mountain View Animal Hospital as a receptionist in August of 2017, and am now an assistant. Graduating from Culver High School, I now am a resident of Terrebonne with my two dogs (Gunner and Lady May), two cats (Lenny and Biscuit), and 2 ducks. When I'm not working, I enjoy doing anything in the outdoors such as hiking, mountain biking, exploring the mountains both sunshine and snow, and many more activities.

Siobean, CVT

Hi, my name is Siobean (Sha-bon) Walker-Sands. I have been a certified veterinary technician since July 2016. It has been a long and somewhat exhausting  journey of meeting new wonderful people and their amazing pets - some of which were truly exotic! Throughout the years I have been super lucky to see several different types of raptors - such as owls, hawks, eagles, and have even had the pleasure of seeing a couple of swans. I have also seen different types of geckos, tortoises, parrots, pocket pets, and even an eastern blue tongue skink. Yes - their tongues are really blue. Even though I have seen much over the years, my favorite patients are of the feline variety. I have been known to be a “crazy cat lady” and it will stay that way for many decades to come. Which comes to what I enjoy after work - I love to read, snuggled up with my kitten Hermes and just be comfy.

Tabitha, CVT

Tabitha is a licensed technician that joined our team in 2021. She has been a licensed tech for over eleven years.  She enjoys gardening, hiking, and camping with her family and dogs on her days off.  She is especially talented at crocheting.

I ride horses in my free time and compete when I can. I have a Texas heeler at home named Kip and two goofy horses named Sugar and Luca.

Makiah, Assistant

Hi my name is Makiah. I was born and raised in a small town on the coast of Oregon. I’ve been working in the vet field for about 2 years now and I absolutely love it! I’m currently in school working on becoming a certified veterinary technician. I’m so grateful to be alongside such a great team at MVAH. My hobbies when I’m not working are hunting, fishing, riding quads, spending time in the mountains and hanging out with friends and family.
