Our Team!

Danielle Huff, Veterinarian

Dr. Danielle Huff attended Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine, “Go COUGS!”.  After graduation she worked in an emergency clinic on the East Coast. Tired of the humidity she came back to the West Coast and worked for several years in an extremely busy small animal practice that was well known for high quality medicine and behavioral services. Dr. Huff has been in Central Oregon for over 10 years now raising her family. She loves Mountain View Animal Hospital as it is a clinic providing high quality medicine in a small, intimate environment where people, pets, and vets can promote and foster the human-animal bond.  When she is not at work, Dr. Huff enjoys spending time with her busy and active family playing on the water, gardening, biking, hiking, and enjoying all that Central Oregon has to offer.

Laura Acevedo, Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Laura Alicia Acevedo earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University and her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Dr. Acevedo is particularly interested in zoo and exotic animals (especially the dangerous ones) with a special place in her heart for small ruminants, cats, and dogs. In addition to treating all species, Dr. Acevedo enjoys Internal Medicine, wildlife medicine, and Oncology. She has previously worked as a zoo keeper, a dairy farm hand, and most recently as an associate veterinarian at Liberty Humane Society in Jersey City, NJ. She is new to the area (born in New York, NY and grew up in Maplewood, NJ) and is excited to explore the west coast through camping, running, rock climbing, day hiking, and eating. When Dr. Acevedo is not caring for your pets, she is probably exploring the outdoors and local microbreweries, collecting stickers, watching baseball (Let’s Go Mets!), or taking care of her own pets - Chef Boyardee (1 year old ball python), Lentil (8 year old mud turtle), and Peachy (18 year old Lovebird!). She is also in the process of expanding upon her medical Spanish. Dr. Acevedo is excited to see any and all types of pets you have at home!

Stephanie, Assistant

Hello, I am Stephanie! I have been in the Veterinary field for 6 years. I have worked many positions in the clinic. My main position at Mountain View Animal Hospital is assisting. I also enjoy client communication and helping pet owners make a better and healthier life for their beloved animals. I am working on becoming a licensed Technician though an online school. Outside of work I enjoy spending my time hunting, fishing, camping and hiking with my two crazy dogs. I also spend most of my free time with my husband and our growing family!

Cassie, Assistant

I'm Cassie! I joined the staff of Mountain View Animal Hospital as a receptionist in August of 2017, and am now training to become an assistant. Graduating from Culver High School, I now am a resident of Terrebonne with my two dogs (Gunner and Sis) and two cats (Lenny and Biscuit). When I'm not working, I enjoy doing anything in the outdoors such as hiking, mountain biking, exploring the mountains both sunshine and snow, and many more activities.

Victoria, Assistant/Receptionist

Hi, I’m Victoria! I've been working part-time here at Mountain View Animal Hospital since Fall 2017. I am a student at Central Oregon Community College in the process of  becoming a certified Veterinary Technician. I’m a HUGE animal lover and love that I get to work with others that share the same passion! When not at the clinic I enjoy kayaking, camping, hiking, and of course spending time with my best friends and fur babies Henry (my 8 year old cat) and Olive (my 4 year old rabbit)!

Lori Landsiedel/Receptionist

Hi! My name is Lori and I am the newest person to join the team in November 2019. I moved to the area one year ago from Ridgefield, WA with my wonderful husband Bob where I had retried from Mission Foods after 20 years as an Office Coordinator. We knew this is where we wanted to live as we enjoy the weather (yes, even the snow), all the outdoor pubs and restaurants, and music concerts. We just plan on living an active life! I am very happy and fortunate to have found a job that has amazing kind people who truly care about your pets. I have one dog at home, Bella, and I hope to learn so much from everyone.  Please stop in and introduce yourself - I look forward to meeting you!
